How to schedule a meeting?

    Scheduling a meeting is as easy as telling or entering the command “Schedule a meeting” and follow the instructions as Kora guides you through the process. See here for more.

    How to select invitees for a meeting?

    From your utterance, Kora Assistant is capable of picking the invitees list, else it will prompt you for the same. The details are picked from the your contacts, if not available you will be prompted for the email id of the invitee.

    Can I invite people outside my organization?

    Yes, you can. All you need is their email id and Kora will send out a meeting invitation email for confirmation.

    Can I schedule meeting for a particular time?

    Yes, you can by using the command “Schedule a meeting today at 8am” or specifying the time when prompted during the Schedule Meeting process.

    Can I ask attendees to vote/select from selected time slots?

    Kora checks the calendar of all the meeting participants and comes with at least three possible mutually available time slots. You, as an organizer, either choose one of them or can select upto 5 preferred time slots and send it across to the invitees to get a time slot convenient to them

    How do I check my colleague’s availability for scheduling a meeting?

    Kora will do that for you automatically. If Kora does not have access to the invitee’s calendar and mail will be sent out with the date and time you have selected and the invitee can respond suitably.

    What if the invitees are in different time zones?

    Invitees can be from different time zones. Kora will take care of the time difference and present the mutually available slots based on the work hours defined in the Kora profile.

    How to block a calendar for a meeting?

    Kora automatically blocks your calendar once the meeting is scheduled.

    Can I cancel a scheduled meeting?

    Can I cancel a meeting scheduled by others?

    No, you can decline the meeting invite but not cancel the meeting.

    Can I assign a task to others?

    Yes, by mentioning the assignee name in the initial utterance.

    Can I create a task for myself?

    A task created without specifying any name is assigned to you.

    How do I check the status of a task?

    How do I view the tasks assigned to me?

    Select Tasks Panel from the main menu and a list of Upcoming and Overdue Tasks along with a brief overview will be displayed. These tasks are further categorized as Assigned to you and Assigned by you.

    Can I view the status of tasks assigned by me?

    Select Tasks Panel from the main menu and a list of Upcoming and Overdue Tasks along with a brief overview will be displayed. These tasks are further categorized as Assigned to you and Assigned by you.

    When is a task considered as completed?

    You can use the command “complete <task-name> task” or “complete my tasks” for all tasks assigned to you.

    You can also select Tasks Panel from the main menu. From the list of Tasks click the drop-down arrow next to the relevant task and select the “Complete” option.

    Can I change the due date on a task?

    You can use the command “Change due date of my task”.

    You can also, select Tasks Panel from the main menu, for a list of Tasks. Click the drop-down arrow next to the relevant task and select the “Change due date” option.

    What is an announcement?

    An announcement is a message or news that you want to broadcast/share to colleagues and teams.

    How to create an announcement?

    What is a skill?

    Capabilities of Kora are referred to as Skills. These skills can be categorized as – Internal Skills which include meetings, tasks, announcements, knowledge, etc.. and External Skills are external bots that can be integrated into Kora for the specific needs of the organization.

    Skills in the context of External Skills are system bots that employees have to invoke on a daily basis. Employees can enable universal skills or custom skills, add private skills, or access new skills built on Kore.ai Platform or other bots platforms. See here for more.

    What are types of skills?

    Skills can be Enterprise or Personal.

    Enterprise skills are Enterprise Admin enabled skills that the employees can use across the board.

    Personal skills are integrated by the employees for their use.

    Is usage of skills mandatory?

    Enterprise Admin can mandate a few skills to be used by employees like HR, ITSM. These are mandatory skills that are automatically enabled for all users. Optional skills are integrated by the Enterprise Admin but need not be used by all the users. Users can pick and choose as per their need and requirement.

    I don't want to use the skill, what do I do?

    Among the enterprise skills, few will be marked as mandatory by the Enterprise admin. These cannot be removed from your profile.

    Optional skills and any personal skills that you no longer need, can be disabled.

    How to add/configure a new skill?

    You can tap into Kora’s Skill store to add skills like JIRA, Salesforce and many more. You can also add personal skills which are bots build using Kore.ai or Dialog Flow platform.

    How to access skill?

    Access Skills by one of the following means:

    • from your Profile section on your mobile Kora app.
    • from the Skills tab from the web browser offering of Kora.

    What is a Knowledge Article?

    Knowledge article is any piece of information that can be stored and managed using Kora. It can be a web article, discussions from an email thread, or manually entered text/ multimedia content, etc..

    How can I add Knowledge Article?

    You can use the Knowledge panel from the Kora app or using Knowledge Portal or using a browser plugin or from emails (see here for more).

    How and where can I view Knowledge articles in Kora?

    All offerings of Kora – web, mobile and desktop, have a tab or widget pointing to Knowledge articles. You can click the same to view articles created by you and shared by your team.

    Can I share my articles with others?

    Using the share icon, you can share the knowledge article with individuals or team.

    Why should I add hashtags while creating Knowledge articles?

    Hashtags can be used to organize and simplify the search for a given article.

    Can I add multimedia content in Knowledge articles?

    Yes, you can attach files to knowledge articles and this includes multimedia files, too.

    Can I set my work hours?

    Yes. From the Profile select Settings and User Preferences to set your preferred work hours. This will be taken into consideration when scheduling meetings or when your colleagues are looking for your free times. See here for how.

    Can I create a group and use it to collaborate with my team?

    Yes, using teams. Teams are groups of users from your organization with some common goal or purpose. You can create teams from Profile under the Teams section. See here for how.

    How do I know which teams I belong to?

    Can I disable notifications regarding Announcements?

    Use the Announcement Notifications from the Settings section under Profile. See here for how.
