*available only on the mobile app

Highlights

  • From text command or utterance (in mobile app) for task creation, Kora extracts the following details:
    • Task Title – mandatory, you will be prompted if title is not found in the initial utterance;
    • Due Date – mandatory, you will be prompted if the date is not found in the initial utterance;
    • Assignee – if not present in the initial utterance, it is assumed to be a self-assigned task.
  • Once scheduled you will get a reminder 30 mins before the task due-time.
  • You can further modify a task by:
    • Change the due date;
    • Mark as complete;
    • Reassign the task;

Access Permissions: For efficient task management, you need to provide Kora access to your cloud contacts when prompted during onboarding.

Create Task

Once you have initiated the Create Task flow:

  1. Task Title: Kora needs a title for the task. It will be picked from your utterances or you will be prompted to enter the title. Give a meaningful title.
  2. Due Date: The date and time when the task needs to be completed should be specified. This can be a specific date-time or a day like “today”, “tomorrow”, “next week”, or “next month”. When the day is specified without a time, the time is set to end the working hours for that day as mentioned in the user profile settings (see here for how to set the work hours).
  3. Assigned to – If no name is specified in the initial utterance, Kora assumes it to be a self-assigned task.
  4. Before confirming the task you have an option to:
    • Change Assignee – if not provided it will be assigned to the user
    • Add Description – if not provided it will be set to the task title.
    • Change Due Date
