Team Management

Teams is a place to create your own teams and use these teams to share knowledge, and collaborate.

Accessing Teams

Access Teams through any of the following means:

  • from your Profile section on your mobile and desktop Kora app.
  • from the Teams tab from the web browser offering of Kora.

Actions

Selecting Teams displays a list of Teams to which you belong. Admin can add teams using the + symbol at the bottom right.

Click on the Team card to open the team details. The following details are listed:

  • Knowledge – Here you will find any knowledge articles that were shared by the team members. You can search for a specific article, view an article, or add a NEW article.
  • Members – List of members and along with the owner and admin for the team are displayed here. If you are the owner of the team, then you can ADD members to the team.
  • Settings – A brief description of the team along with the option to Leave Team can be found here. If you are the owner of the team, you can configure the Permissions for various users, see below for details.

Create a Team

From the Team listing screen, you can create a new team by clicking the + button.

Steps

  1. Click the + icon from the bottom left corner of the Teams listing screen
  2. Set the Color
  3. Enter a Name and @Mention. @mention is the reference to the team when used elsewhere in Kora. It can be used in utterances like “Schedule meeting with @team_name”. By default, the mention is set to the team name.
  4. Your name will be listed as the Owner.
  5. You can ADD Members to the Team using the names from your contact list or entering the full mail id.
  6. Permissions for different types of users can be set accordingly
    • Non-members can be allowed to post articles and contribute to the knowledge of this team. These articles can be posted directly without approval or require the owner or admin approval.
    • Members can be allowed to post articles and contribute to the knowledge of this team. These articles can be posted directly without approval or require the owner or admin approval.
    • Admin can be allowed to post articles and contribute to the knowledge of this team. These articles can be posted directly without approval or require owner approval. In addition, Admins can be granted permissions to manage members and settings of the team.
